This full-time paid internship opportunity is for the summer of 2019. We are seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology related field. What are the objectives/goals of the position? Learn professional software engineering tools, methods, and processes. Expose intern to medical imaging informatics, imaging platform development and operations. Support biomedical imaging platform development and reporting tasks What are the primary duties of this position? Report to work each day ready to learn something new Apply newly acquired knowledge to programming and reporting tasks Assist in evaluation and deployment of imaging platform tools and technologies What technical skills are required? Computer programming experience To participate in the AstraZeneca Intern Program, Students must meet the following eligibility criteria: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program, returning to the academic program following AstraZeneca MedImmune assignment Minimum grade point average of 3.0 preferred At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
