To support the engineering team to undergo testing, reseaching components parts and build and test nanoIR assemlies for engineering. Responsibilities Design, assemble and test ultra high speed vacuum chopper. Build optical table test assemblies based on provided patterns, including laser alignment. Data collection for various prototypes and breadboard assemblies, under varying conditions. Create reports / presentations using collected data. PCA assembly (soldering) using provided parts and drawings. Component research (eg find retailers that sell motors with given specifications). Design and drawing of simple parts. Qualifications Undergraduate or above - Minimum Completed Junior Year of Physics degree or other science related degree.
