About our Career Accelerator Program (CAP) The Career Accelerator Program at PagerDuty offers an opportunity for participants, to learn and build meaningful skills at PagerDuty. Whether youre enrolled in a post-secondary institution, completed a coding bootcamp, or returning to work after a gap in employment, CAP can provide up to 16 weeks of hands-on experience in a high growth tech company. Through a variety of networking, learning, and mentoring opportunities, our CAP program fast tracks participants for an exceptional career and can serve as a gateway to permanent employment at PD. CAP has three cohorts each year beginning in January (Winter), May (Summer) and September (Fall) and participants are paid competitively in their respective industries. Check out what some of our past participants have done during their time at PD. We are looking for a Social Impact Intern to assist in growing our global employee and community impact programs. This is a chance to help PagerDutys creative and growing social impact team as we shape PagerDutys unique opportunity to deliver impact. How You Contribute to Our Vision * You will be a champion for social good inside PagerDutys culture and connect employees with opportunities to give back * You will drive key communications, in partnership with our Marketing and Communications team, to increase program visibility through storytelling, events, corporate website, corporate blog, and social media * You will play a key role in the development and execution of our Global Impact Week * You will research new volunteer opportunities and work with local non profit organizations and partners that engage global employees in meaningful community impact while also supporting business objectives * You will work with local nonprofit organizations to identify community needs and define opportunities for PagerDuty employees to give back * You will contribute to team operations in ways such as vendor relationships, content management, donation approvals, and reporting activities About You * You are passionate about social impact and want to change the world * You are able to work independently and take the lead to deliver results * You are a passionate storyteller and excel at bringing experiences to life * You bring your creative approach to any project at hand * You are committed to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners Minimum Requirements * You have experience with academic or professional research projects * You have experience with program and partnership management * You have strong written and verbal communications skills with experience in marketing * You have a commitment to giving back to your community through volunteer initiatives * You have some knowledge of the nonprofit sector PagerDuty Offers: In addition to working with deeply passionate and intelligent people in a dynamic environment, we also offer: Competitive compensation Catered lunch every day and a well stocked kitchen - snacks and beverages for every mood Monthly company-wide hack-days Mentorship - each participant is matched with a team mentor A chance to participate in our Employee Resource Groups and give back through various volunteer opportunities PagerDuty is committed to creating a diverse environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
