Corporate Research Lab Orangeburg, SC, USA Full Time Competitive General Summary: Assist in performing standard tests to meet standardized method and customer requirements while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Principal duties and responsibilities: Setup and operation of standard analytical equipment to meet method and quality program requirements. Data collection and compilation in a clear, concise manner in compliance with method and quality program requirements along with application of basic statistical analysis. Prepares test specimens to meet method and quality program requirements. Ensures the confidentiality and integrity of proprietary information and technologies for internal as well as external customers. Provide input for development of standard operating procedures, testing methods and material testing protocols. Maintains laboratory testing to assure compliance with ASTM, ISO and AAMI standards Complies with safety and chemical hygiene programs Setting up thermal testing including DSC and TGA Setting up and identifying polymers utilizing FTIR Dimensional analysis on tubing and heat shrink products Microscopic analysis for contaminants Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college degree program Chemical or physical lab testing experience, or course work in a Science or Engineering curriculum with an interest in lab operations Ability to carry out oral and written instructions Detail oriented able to observe and record details Ability to work with a team as well as individually ZEUS INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS https://zeusinc.exactapplicant.com
