Responsibilities The internship program provides highly motivated and qualified students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and heighten business knowledge. Collaborate side by side with employees in a variety of positions including Software Development Engineers, Business Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, and Testing Analysts on challenging projects, interact with all levels of management and senior leaders, and gain insight into business and technology in the insurance industry. Qualifications Primary Responabalities Triage, resolve lower level repeatable Incidents (Filesystem, CPU, Swap, LPAR2RRD, login and group issues)Complete Requests for Memory, Filesystem and CPU IncreasesStandardization of Linux and AIX Configurations Validate, Record and possibly resolve any non-standard configResolve mksysb report issuesSkipped file report in NetBackupInitial requests for AIX Builds, and complete Linux builds (unless it is all automated by then)Big Fix Patching validation Servers, Groups and PatchesCMDB Updates for HostsData Gathering on Weekly basis (CMDB,LPAR2RRD, Big Fix) Minimum Qualifications Basic understanding of Unix Operating systemsTeamwork and ability to work without tight oversightCommunication skillsIncreased Linux understanding to Technical AdministratorHigh Level of Individual drive / dedicationGreat Team WorkMust have completed 2 years of college OptionsCreate Profile & ApplyApplyShareEmail this job to a friendReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
