Posted on Reporting Analyst Internship adQuadrant in Costa Mesa, CA, USA About the Job: The Reporting Analyst Internship requires a data-driven strategic thinker with a desire to understand the analytics behind marketing initiatives. Daily duties include managing multi-channel reporting systems, collecting campaign performance data for monthly reporting purposes, and performing analyses to help the media team discover growth opportunities for clients. This role will report to the COO and will work closely with a team of marketers who specialize in paid media, email marketing, and data analytics. * This role is part-time in Costa Mesa, CA * This is a 4-month paid internship with adQuadrant. * This internship is paid. Requirements Responsibilities: * Completing assigned reading and learning modules. * Shadowing experienced Data Analyst as they perform their work. * Extract and analyze data to drive business strategy. * Create visualizations and dashboards with reporting and analytical tools such as Google Data Studio, ReportGarden, and Excel to efficiently reflect the key takeaways * Design, build and use tools for understanding how our campaigns perform. * Monitor key metrics to help identify issues, trends, and opportunities. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in partnership with the Client Services team * Responsible for forecasting, budget, and month end process around reporting and billing in partnership with the Client Services team & Finance * Assist in the generate of data to support up-selling opportunities * Gain a solid understanding of the business focus and be able to step in and support varied ad hoc projects when needed What you'll get out of this internship: * Access to all resources at adQuadrant (content & people). * Behind the scenes look at successful online advertising campaigns. * Hands-on experience working with multiple clients in different verticals * An opportunity for a long-term career at one of the fastest growing marketing agencies! Qualifications: * Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment * Outstanding written and oral communications skills * Bachelors in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Science or a quantitative discipline; advanced degree a plus (In school is preferred) * Experience with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and relevant reporting tools * Experience or passion for data visualization, presentation, and communication * General Knowledge of Digital marketing and Key Metrics * Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment * Hands on experience working with time series advertising and response data * Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities * High degree of integrity and business ethics; must be self-motivated and able to work as an individual contributor.
