In this position, you will assist Marketing Program Managers in developing marketing campaigns for ALEs Networking Portfolio as well as for two industry verticals – Transportation and Education. These marketing campaigns comprise of numerous marketing tactics including: * Outbound (email campaigns) * Inbound (content syndication, banner ads, search engine marketing, etc.) * Social media * Internal awareness and education * Partner communications and enablement * Sales enablement (webinars, scripts for telemarketers and training) * Analyst and media outreach This is an awesome opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience at a large multinational corporation. Were looking for someone who isnt comfortable simply putting in their hours behind a computer monitor and then going home. Oh, and not to mention someone who is flexible, versatile and smart. Yes, were looking for someone like you. Your Typical Day Simply put, you wont have one. Your job duties will be wide-ranging and may include any of the following: * Working with subject matter experts, external writers, editors and designers to create marketing collateral, such as brochures, datasheets, whitepapers, infographics and other multimedia for global circulation * Assisting with the day-to-day “necessary evils” of the role, like keeping marketing plans and content inventories up-to-date, taking minutes in our multitude of meetings and organizing/uploading material to our digital library * Locating stock images to include in marketing collateral * Writing and reviewing blogs * Helping with coordination of internal and external events (tradeshows) * Assisting in developing integrated marketing campaigns to market Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise globally * Submitting posts on ALE Advocate (ALE social media platform) * Managing and guiding projects from start to finish * Some graphic design and video editing, as needed (if you are capable) Qualifications Essential and Desired Skills: * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Knowledge of SharePoint, Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/etc) is a plus * Video Production skills/Experience with Final Cut Pro Software, and knowledge of Keynote, iMovie, is even more of a plus * Strong communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills essential * Self-starting, enthusiastic and flexible * Creativity/ability to tell a story is a plus * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Excellent attention to detail * Flexible work attitude: the ability to work productively and independently in a team environment, with the ability to respond rapidly to changes, yet remain focused on the priorities Required Qualifications: * Must be pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or a related field from an accredited college/university * Must have at least a 3.0 GPA Posted date: 8 hours ago
