Students in the program will actively contribute to their teams' success, learn about JM Family's company and culture, and obtain new skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The individual selected for this internship will be responsible for supporting their department in a variety of functions and will have exposure to all activities related to the department's initiatives. The intern will also gain access to professional development opportunities through the internship program. Some of these opportunities include business presentation skills classes, lunch and learns and career readiness workshops. Job Description We are seeking a Technology Initiatives Intern that is available to work part-time/full-time (25-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm) this summer in St. Louis, MO. The Technology Initiatives Group exists to support technology initiatives within the Service Centers to improve both the customer and user experience. Our mission is to improve the customer experience through the implementation of new technology while also supporting and enhancing the user experience. To accomplish this mission, we are committed to support management, the Companys Mission, Vision, and Values and performing with honesty and integrity. As an intern, you will benefit from on-the-job training and mentoring, along with participation in professional development events, projects, and workshops. You will receive the opportunity to enhance your interpersonal skills, build professional relationships and your resume. An intern should expect to contribute individually and as a team member to support a designated functional area, and work toward goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager. The Technology Initiatives Intern will: 1) assist with process-based project work activities, 2) bring a fresh and new perspective to the project activities, 3) participate in testing new functionality, and 4) participate in validation of data and workflows. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new processes within the Service Cloud Support project initatives in requirement gathering, implementation and post-delivery evaluation Analyze and assess data flow between source systems and the Service Cloud Attend project team meetings as needed Assist with designing new business processes Interview business teams related to processes and definition of processes Evaluate business processes for improvement opportunities Job Requirements Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university required Candidates should be at Junior or Senior level in coursework with a GPA of 2.75 or above Good observation and assessment skills Good analytical skills Technically savvy Ability to flex between team-based activities and independent activities Proficient and comfortable with data analysis Understanding of and aptitude for web-based technologies Curious and creative mindset Minimum intermediate Excel aptitude
