Bachelor in Oregon; and Lee Canyon in Nevada. Also in POWDR's portfolio are the Woodward camps and progression centers, which include Woodward Copper at Copper Mountain, Woodward PA, Woodward Tahoe, Woodward West in Stallion Springs, CA, and Woodward Riviera Maya. POWDR fuels participation in the adventure lifestyle with a collection of festivals, competitions, and branded events. Outside Television, based in Westport, CT, is the national active, outside-lifestyle programming network subsidiary of POWDR, Sun Country Tours in Oregon is the company's river rafting outfitter, and Powderbirds, based out of Snowbird Utah, is POWDR's heli-skiing operator. JOB SUMMARY: This Accounting Internship will give the right candidate the opportunity to obtain first-hand knowledge of the financial side of our resorts and camps in a cooperative team environment. Under the supervision of our staff, the Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze financial data, gain experience with ERP accounting software, and assist with other accounting activities. JOB DUTIES: Assisting with the weekly accounts payable check run Supporting the implementation of POWDR's new purchasing/invoicing system Aiding with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records. Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents. Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company. Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Is honest and has the highest integrity. Can handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment Prioritizes and re-prioritizes personal time and work, to have good balance in life PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Accounts Payable and/or Coupa platform a plus Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles. Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
