About Our Internship Program As a thredUP intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what its like to work at the leading online secondhand apparel marketplace. During your 12 weeks, you will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUPs business. Interns must be able to commit to 20 hours (with an option to expand) and will work out of our small but mighty New York City office. Our paid internships are ideal for current students or recent-grads who thrive in ambiguity, like a good challenge, and want a legUP in their career development. Oh, and who want to have a little fun in the process. About You We are seeking a smart and enthusiastic Marketing Communications Intern to join thredUP this fall, with the potential to develop into a full time position with the team. Responsibilities * Monitor fashion runway and pop culture trends and create relevant curations. * Develop lists, pitch and network with potential press, stylist and celebrity partners. * Assist with data analysis for seasonal fashion trend press pieces. * Monitor thredUP press coverage and assist in reporting of PR efforts. * Present campaign ideas and potential partners with the goal of brand exposure. * Manage and maintain thredUPs master media list and calendars. * General administrative assistance including managing thredUPs media email account, organizing gifting programs/shipments and more.
