This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of various project management functions. The Intern is responsible for a variety of projects designed to be completed. Gain knowledge of and interact with project management and other business professionals throughout the internship. Job Responsibilities * Supports day-to-day operations of the project management department developing a general understanding of all aspects of administration of the project manager function including policies, procedures and processes * Gains exposure to various assessments and resources including * Listening in on client calls to gain full understanding of the project * Communicating details with design team * Checking design files against checklist of changes/updates * Proofreading prices and calories * Monitoring files through the approval workflow process (in coordination with clients and design team) * Being the eyes and ears to IDL print since APM is off site and communicating any needs/challenges * Billing process copy/paste run lists and matching quantities with rate card * Grand openings - this is very time consuming * Print on Demand processing with IDL Print generated from call log * Primary focus will be working with and supporting the QSR department. * Helps create and develops project plans * Provides assistance with special projects as needed. * Additional duties are assigned. Qualifications / Requirements * Current enrollment in graduate or undergraduate degree program in a marketing related field at a recognized college or university. * Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. * Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. * Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). * Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts. * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. * Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Ability to work with and influence peers and management. * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. * Ability to work overtime as necessary. * Must have current driver s license.
