The Dietetic Internship Director will also provide instruction for undergraduate and graduate students, and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the chair.Qualifications Academic doctorate or highest level terminal degree from an accredited institution in Human Nutrition or closely related field or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Teaching Faculty I. Candidates should hold current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status, and be license-eligible in Florida. Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is also preferred. Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience as an RD (RDN). Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills, organizational skills, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills. Prior teaching experience in both face-to-face and online format is preferred. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and colleagues is expected.
