Interns can apply their educational experience while gaining practical hands-on professional development experience in a corporate setting. In this position, the PDT Intern will work on strategic projects, help to support operations, and learn from a team of PDT and Safety professionals.#160; As per the InternNE Program, this internship is limited up to one year.Essential Job Functions#8226;The PDT Intern will be given the opportunity to gain business acumen, develop an understanding of PDT and Safety department operations, while enhancing their interpersonal and leadership skills. The program will build on the intern's education, and will provide a balance of technical and business learning opportunities. The internship will provide opportunities in training, on-boarding new hires, customer service, compliance, project management, safety, and other key business areas.#8226;The PDT Intern is responsible for a wide variety of duties, which may include the following.#8226;Provides back-up support to the PDT and Safety departments by greeting and assisting team members face-to-face, on the phone, and via e-mail.#8226;Performs various data entry in the Learning Management and Mission Mode systems.#8226;Creates quarterly and monthly labor reports, to include monthly training posters.#8226;Assists with the Safety department inspections and processes.#8226;Performs a variety of clerical duties to support New Employee Orientation, PDT, and Safety events.#8226;May perform other duties assigned by management.#8226;The PDT Intern will be directly linked to the business environment in which Duncan Aviation operates and competes, and will provide relevance within the PDT department.#8226;Action learning will be used - learning by doing, working on real work challenges and business issues. This action learning approach increases the probability of impacting growth, strategy, quality, innovation, efficiency and performance in a positive way.#8226;Follow-through and Measurement - The PDT Intern's development will be tied into existing processes, including development plans, performance evaluations and career planning.
