Outbound Business Development Intern - WishX San Francisco, California University University Intern Business Development Interns are experts at partner acquisition and providing our partners/merchants with comprehensive onboarding support. Our interns are primarily responsible for the merchant acquisition cycle, from sourcing to onboarding. This position will also support the Business Development team in revenue growth activities from existing and new merchant partners. WishX is a new department at Wish aimed to improve the overall growth of the company. Our goal is to find different partners, projects, and features that are different from what Wish has now. All projects worked on by the team are risky but if successful yield tremendous results. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Manage outbound calls in a timely manner Identify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and high energy individuals excited to grow their portfolio Keep records of all conversations in a comprehensible way Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively Desired Skills and Experience Incoming freshman, sophomore and junior university students Familiarity with Google docs, sheets, slides, Photoshop Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written) Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines Ability to work confidently, both independently and in a team Naturally curious. You're innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things Smart, detail-oriented, and relentlessly resourceful Position Details Full-time internship at our San Francisco office Open to students available to work for the summer term starting May or June Must be willing to work in our San Francisco office.
