Student Intern Texas A&M Forest Service, United States Updated: about 7 hours ago Location: Pittsburg, OKLAHOMA Job Type: PartTime Job Title Student Intern Agency Texas A&M Forest Service Department North Region Proposed Minimum Salary $15.00 hourly Job Location Pittsburg, Texas Job Type Student Worker Job Description ****This position is a SEASONAL position. It will close at Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 8:00 AM.**** To assist with production of videos and promotion of program delivery by East Texas Operations through social media and other official forms of communication as outlined by the agency communication plan. *Start date is May 17- June1, 2019.* Responsibilities: -Assist with the production of 3 to 4 promotional/informational videos for East Texas Operations, film and edit videos, promote videos through agency social media outlets. -Work with agency communication personnel on strategic marketing plan and respond to requests for information from the general public. -Shadow TFS personnel to get a broad view of agency mission and programs. -Support other programs with communication materials as needed. -Working conditions: A mix of office and field work with occasional travel in state. -This internship is a 40 hr/wk., Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM position. -Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Required Education: Must be enrolled at an accredited university with at least 30 hours towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Agribusiness, Business Administration or a degree field with minor in Filmmaking, Digital Media, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations or allied areas of study. Preferred Education: Preference given to students with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Required Experience: None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and familiar with film and photography editing. Required Abilities: Work independently and be self-directed. Multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Required Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills working with a wide variety of people.
