Marketing/Mass Communications - Intern (Local Candidates Only) {SAW} Software Mill Asheville, NC Employment Type Part-Time {SAW} Software Mill is wholly committed to agile development practices. You would be working with a team of experienced developers through one of many software projects that are international multi-year commitments. As part of the {SAW} Software team you will be participating in developing marketing collateral, material, podcasts, blogs and contributing to digital channels. Responsibilities: Work with team to develop understanding of products and the work competed by other departments Research, and draft marketing collateral Review competitive landscape and identify marketing material gaps Develop scripts and outlines for podcasts and video content Proofread all developed material Contribute to company social channels to provide ongoing updates to the social streams Research potential prospect databases Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an Associate/Bachelors Degree program Digital marketing experience (including personal and educational experience) Solid time management and research capabilities Self-motivated, communicative, detail oriented, flexible and organized Creative problem-solving skills Desired Skills/Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including writing and/or editing experience with print and electronic media Knowledge of basic content management software: strong proofreading and editing skills are required Organizational and planning skills are required Knowledge of work processing, database and/or spreadsheet applications Video and audio editing Knowledge of Adobe Product Suite {SAW} Software Mill Why Work Here?
