NONDUKE STUDENT/INTERN, DUKE HEALTH DEVELOPMENT Duke University, United States Updated: about 5 hours ago Location: Durham, NORTH CAROLINA Medical Center Development Job Description Overall Goal: To work with the Childrens Miracle Network HospitalsProgram team at DukeChildrens,assisting in the implementation of partner campaigns, specialevents,and other developmentresponsibilities as assigned. Duties: Assist the CMN Hospitals team with fundraising efforts including visiting with CMN Hospitals partners, making phone calls, giving direction and sharing ideas with the campaign organizers, and hosting hospital tours Assist with preparing campaign reports, collateral, and documents Brainstorm and develop revenue generating ideas for CMN Hospitals fundraising programs, including Radiothon, Miracle Network Dance Marathon, and Extra Life Help manage 25th Anniversary Radiothon Committee, including attending meets, soliciting sponsorships, and other duties as assigned. Work with CMN Hospitals team and Senior Public Relations Specialist to secure necessary promotionof events and campaigns Assist the team with event preparation and management including preparing materials for display, registration management, gathering of collateral, assisting with volunteers, and other duties asassigned Work with the rest of Duke Childrens Development team on duties as assigned, including Duke Childrens Development events, community events, and other fundraising initiatives Minimum qualifications: Must have a valid drivers license. Must have car insurance. Must be a junior or senior in good academic standing. Must attend onboard training before the internship begins. Must be physically able to life 40 lbs. Business casual dress required.
