Human Resources Intern Boys and Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana - Louisville, KY3.7 22 hours agoPart-timeEstimated: $22,000 - $29,000 a year Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree * High School Diploma or GED Skills * Word Processing * Computer Skills * Organizational Skills TITLE: Human Resource Intern DEPARTMENT: Administration REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources Classification: Unpaid / Part-time General Summary: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana seeks an intern to assist the Human Resource department in the day-to-day activities. The internship would give the intern valuable, real-world experience, as well as providing the Human Resource team with additional administrative support. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with all aspects of recruitment (scheduling of drug testing and background checks, respond to inquires, application data/file management). * Write HR procedures for all onboarding process and any other process used in HR * Assist with New Hire packets and creating new hire personnel files. * Respond to all employment inquiries in a timely manner. * Create and maintain job description book and online files. * Assist as needed with staff trainings. * Post new positions on various websites. * Assist in audit and process of monthly insurance billing. * Compile data for summary reports as needed. * Assist with terminations, I-9 and medical filing. * Assist with merit review process as needed. * Special projects as assigned. * All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Educational Requirements, Certification or Licensing Standards, Experience and Basic Knowledge Requirements): * High School degree * Currently College Junior/Senior level pursuing Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field * Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Proficient computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets) * Proven people skills * Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition * Flexible schedule and ability to work extra hours as needed To Apply: Email your resume and cover letter to Grace Williams at gwilliams@BGCKYANA.org or Fiona Gibbons at fgibbons@bgckyana.org
