Summary/Objective We are currently looking for a Seasonal Human Resources Intern to join our HR team this summer. The HR Intern will perform a variety of personnel-related tasks. They will support the HR department with administrative duties and projects. If you are passionate about HR and enjoy working in a high energy environment, this position is for you. Essential Functions * Assist the HR team with day to day administrative tasks. * Maintain employee personnel files. * Update and maintain employee information in HRIS software. * I-9 Audit * General filing, copying, faxing, and other clerical activities of a variety of confidential, human resources related documents * Complete employment verifications as requested * Assist in the processing and of new hires, I-9 verification, status changes and termination paperwork, appropriately maintaining employee files * Evaluate paperwork for completeness and accuracy, make changes and complete forms as necessary. Oversee incomplete paperwork and follow up as needed * Maintain and enter data into various human resources databases in a timely manner * Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations * Maintains confidentiality of company information * Perform related duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
