# 2019-2020 Campus Internship-Commercial Management Program (MBA) Dow is looking for successful candidates for the Commercial Management MBA Internship Program who are currently pursuing an MBA from an accredited University Business School program. The Commercial Management Program internship is intended for a highly motivated MBA candidates who seek a challenging career in commercial roles, and a desire to help Dow become the most innovative, customer centric, inclusive and sustainable material science company in the world. Starting in a marketing or sales management position upon joining the company, this person would be well positioned for future growth within the Commercial organizations of Dows businesses through proven performance and skill development. The purpose of the internship is to mutually assess the fit for a full-time position on such a career path. To that end, interns will work in small, diverse teams to tackle high-impact, business-related projects aligned with Dow's strategy. Interns are expected to apply their prior work experiences as well as the analytical tools and insights gained from business school to deliver fresh, provocative, and actionable solutions. Equally important, the role of each intern is to actively network across the company to develop their own assessment of Dow, our culture and the full-time career opportunity. Dow will assist in this endeavor by creating access to executives and senior leadership throughout the internship. ** ** ****Primary Roles in the Program:**** * Analyze and recommend on enterprise-level (i.e. company-wide) strategic issues, priorities, and direction. * Use of Porters 5-forces, VBM, and/or equivalent strategic analysis frameworks to assess Global Business Units (GBU's), corporate strategy, and / or Regional Business Unit valuation creation of current and strategic alternatives. * Project management leadership with multi-functional/multi-geographic teams * Providing opportunity recommendations on new markets or industries to pursue * Developing new business ideas and shaping a hypothesis to create value * Conducting a value chain analysis for a particular market/industry * Developing understanding of market trends, needs and structure * Creating value models to identify value creation of new product/service offerings * Digital marketing strategy and application **Minimum requirements:** * Pursuing an MBA from an accredited University's Business School * Have prior experience with a global business * Prefer 5-7 years of work experience preferably in a large, global corporate environment * A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
