Internship Director/Clinic Manager Denver Family Institute - Denver, CO 13 hours agoPart-time$14,000 a year Skills * Administrative Experience * Marriage & Family Therapy Certification * Intake Experience Internship Director/Clinic Manager About the Institute Denver Family Institute provides four services: an income based family therapy clinic, community trainings and conferences, MFT outcome research, and an AAMFT approved MFT PDI. Intern and Clinic Support Services The purpose of the Internship Director/Clinic Manager position is oversee the development, implementation and coordination of the internship program and community clinic; their goal is to train, support and supervise interns whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinical intake, client assignment and admin duties that support the maintenance and flow of the community clinic. Additionally, the Internship Director/Clinic Manager is responsible for training the new student cohorts in clinic policy and procedures as well as TheraNest, the online clinic documentation system utilized. The Internship Director/Clinic Manager provides ongoing TheraNest Support to students, faculty and supervisors and acts as the liaison between community and clinic and student body and clinic. The Internship Director/Clinic Manager work collaboratively with the Executive Director, the Director of Student Services, the MFT Program Director, and the MFT faculty and supervisors in creating strategies to ensure that all intern, student therapist and client needs are being met. This is a quarter-time position that requires flexibility (10 hours per week on average- changing depending on the season i.e. more time during fall orientation). Pay starts at $13,800/year with possibility for subsidized rent/office space at DFI to host private practice. Qualifications The Internship Director/Clinic Manager will have experience and an advanced education in offering counseling services (Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field). The employee is expected to be licensed or working towards licensure in the state of Colorado. The Internship Director/Clinic Manager will be an approachable and nurturing individual with an innate ability to be received as helpful. The Internship Director/Clinic Manager will have the ability to respond professionally to common inquiries and/or concerns from students, field liaisons, clients, faculty and admin regarding internship and clinic needs. Additionally, the Internship Director/Clinic Manager will have advanced organizational and administrative skills, superior interpersonal skills with experience managing teams of people and a demonstrated commitment to cultural responsiveness. Responsibilities (*Include but are not limited to;) * Prepares training materials and leads the new student cohort Internship Training and Clinic Training and supports the Director of Student Services in the Student Orientation Training o Maintains, edits, and revises the Internship Training Manual and Clinic Manual * Hold weekly internship supervision meeting to provide support to the interns and oversight of the needs of the community clinic o Assigns and manages intern tasks and duties * Act as a student support and confidant: involving other Staff, Faculty and clients when necessary o Respond to student phone calls in cases of clinical emergency o Assist the student in getting necessary support services when necessary * Acts as the liaison between DFI and the educational institutions of the interns o Completes quarterly individualized internship evaluations o Meets quarterly with students and their field liaisons o Develops and maintains relationships with appropriate institutions * Recruit students and advertise internship opportunities o Respond to questions about the program from prospective students o Attend field fairs of perspective student institutions Job Type: Part-time Salary: $13,800.00 /year Additional Compensation: * Other forms Work Location: * One location * Remote/Work from home
