Marketing and Administrative Intern Ascend SMARTER Intervention - Aurora, CO Internship Marketing & Administrative Assistant Intern Job Description Ascend SMARTER Intervention is an educational therapy private practice and training center in Aurora, Colorado. We are looking for a driven and dependable individual to support the company as the Marketing Assistant/Administrative Assistant. In this role you will be relied on to support all marketing efforts and ensure smooth operations of the office, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. Your ability to think critically, take initiative, understand and appropriately utilize resources will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate or current college student looking to gain experience in digital marketing. This position offers valuable marketing experience and has the potential to evolve into a more permanent position at the conclusion of the summer. Responsibilities * Assists with online content strategy to maximize brand voice * Develop and execute content schedules across social media platforms * Edit and upload Youtube videos * Collaborate with the Marketing team on the development of creative collateral and promotional pieces. This includes development for new branding and rebranding. * Assist with all aspects of local advertising and outreach. * Ensure consistency across multiple marketing channels through regular audits * Answer all incoming calls and emails * Develop and maintain customer relationships with exceptional customer service and prompt phone follow-ups * Ensure that the daily office functions run smoothly * Offer general business and office support Experience/Requirements * Self-motivated with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment * Organized, detail-oriented and analytical, with an ability to think outside of the box * Strong copy-writing skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Time management skills and punctuality a must * Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) * Knowledge of SEO * Experience with Canva * Experience with Tailwind * Experience with Asana preferred but not required * Experience in the education field a plus but not required A Typical Day Might Include: * Collaborating with our marketing specialist to help deliver cohesive and effective marketing campaigns for our online programs. * Assisting in creating compelling, relevant content marketing pieces, such as infographics, blogs, Facebook Ads and social media posts * Maintain effective and efficient operations, anticipating the needs of the office * Coordinating and providing assistance in regards to customer service and intakes * Offer support to diagnostician in preparation for evaluations & evaluation report writing * Offers support to educational clinicians in preparation for daily therapy appointments * Opportunities to support the companys marketing efforts * Opportunities to observe educational evaluations * Opportunities to observe & conduct educational therapy sessions as deemed appropriate The person who fills this position will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week, with the typical schedule being from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday-Friday (schedule can be flexible). The internship will last throughout the summer (start and end date flexible based on school end/start dates) with the potential to carry into the fall.
