Fall Social Media/Mental Health Intern Blue Counseling & Wellness Center - Montclair, NJ 2 hours agoPart-time Skills * Adobe Photoshop Blue Counseling & Wellness Center is a mental health and nutritional wellness organization for individuals and families who are looking to transform their life. Our mission is to empower, educate, support, and guide individuals, couples, and families who are looking to transform their lives. We aim to assist our clients in taking control of their destiny and functioning productively by providing them with the necessary skills to realize their dreams and maintain their mental health and wellness goals. Our method will empower clients to make healthier choices and promote sustainable living. Please see descriptions below for the role which includes, but are not limited to the following: Social Media Intern Interested in marketing, social media, graphic design, art, copywriting, content strategy and/or photography. Assist and create weekly and monthly calendar creation for social channels and newsletter. Produce and Implement engaging campaigns to help increase brand awareness and obtain/sustain subscribers. Manage posting calendar and scheduling pushes accordingly. Engage with the BCWC online community and promote brand awareness via social feeds. We are looking for someone who: Is willing to be flexible and take on all aspects of the position Has experience with all social media platforms. Is creative and loves coming up with new and engaging content. Has experience with creating graphics via an app such as Canva or experience with Photoshop, etc. Is extremely organized, knows how to prioritize tasks and has a positive attitude Mental Health Intern Interested in mental health and/or human sexuality research Assist with organizing electronic client charts Assist with creating content for monthly newsletter and social media posts Planning, promoting, and implementing various community events Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all work at BCWC We are looking for someone who: Is willing to be flexible and take on all aspects of the position Is creative and loves coming up with new and engaging content. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Enjoys working with people and serving their community Is extremely organized, knows how to prioritize tasks and has a positive attitude Things to know This role is a PART-TIME REMOTE role based in New Jersey. Although remote, interns need to be available for weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly conference calls and in person meetings when necessary. We also ask that interns be available daily via text/email for project follow-ups. This role is UNPAID, but available for SCHOOL CREDIT. Benefits: You will have exclusive access to all BCWC events, as well as, other networking events when applicable. You will have liberty to use BCWC owners as a reference. You can work on building your network and learning the inner workings of a private practice.
