LBMC is seeking a part-time intern to support to our growing Litigation Valuations Mergers & Acquisitions practice group to fill a Valuation Intern - Healthcare Compensation Valuation position. The internship will focus on compensation valuations and other analyses/consulting for various physician related arrangements, an area in which LBMC has an extensive history and growing valuation practice. Valuation engagements will include the following: * Physician employment and practice valuation * On-call agreements * Medical directorships * Management and co-management agreements * Leasing and joint venture arrangements * Various independent contractor arrangements PRIMARY DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES * Qualified candidates will have superior technical skills, excellent project management and communication skills. The internship role will include the following: * Assist with valuation engagements including: * Review and analysis of Agreements and other legal documentation * Valuation modeling and development * Report writing and review * Meet or exceed completion deadlines * Conduct ad hoc research and data analysis * Provide recommendations to improve internal processes, policies, analyses and modeling PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS * Previous experience in a Healthcare, Finance, or Accounting related role is preferred. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Desire and ability to take ownership of projects and work independently with minimal supervision. * Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent ability to plan, organize and complete multiple assignments concurrently. * Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. EDUCATION * Currently pursing or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred. Posted date: 5 hours ago
