St Louis based company, recently recognized as a Best Place to Work, is seeking a summer Information Technology Intern at our office in Des Peres, MO. The Intern will work with the IT Manager and assist in swapping out desktops and laptops, installing software, migrating data and other everyday functions. If you don't know how, you must have the drive to learn and be self motivated to provide solutions. A positive attitude is a must. Summary of Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other duties may also be assigned. * Assisting with social media platforms. * Working with outside vendors to setup the company intranet. * Provide general assistance with IT functions, including communicating and scheduling upgrades with end users. * Install peripherals, such as printers, scanners, etc. Position Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Excellent communication skills. * Detail-oriented, able to effectively manage time independently and follow direction. * Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 and Outlook 365.
