Job Information Northrop Grumman 2019 Project Management Intern in Elkton, Maryland Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking a College Project Management Intern for our Elkton, Maryland location. The Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems Propulsion Systems and Controls (PS&C) facilityin Elkton, Maryland began solid-propellant rocket operations in 1948. Today, the Elkton PS&C facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion and ordnance systems in programs professionally managed for a wide variety of Government and commercial customers. As a Project Management Intern, you will support the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between program management and planning, project teams, and operations management. Supports preparation and reviews of project status reports. Works closely with Program Management and Administration to assess program/project issues and helps to develop resolutions to meet customer goals and objectives. Basic Qualifications: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: * Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2019 * Be majoring in Engineering or a closely related field of interest, Business Management, Business Administration, or Finance * Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile * U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite * Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2019 Preferred Qualifications * Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher * Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular) * Good presentation and writing/communication skills * Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment * Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups * Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects This position falls under a Federal Explosives License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for this location. Candidates hired into this role will be required to complete and submit an Employee Possessor Questionnaire to ATF for approval to be a possessor.
