The program includes bi-monthly meetings with industry executives, volunteer opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact on the company through a long-term summer project designed by executives. Location: Greensboro, NC Hours: 40/week Paid: $15/hour The Li & Fung Finance Division works with the company's US Private Label and US apparel/hard goods divisions, as well as supporting US Hub administration processes. The divisions that they currently support have annual sales volumes in the $300 - $400 million range. The summer intern will be working with the accounting/finance division which is made up of 20 employees in Greensboro and also additional staff that are located in NYC. The Finance Summer Intern will be involved with the follow: * General Accounting tasks * Account analysis * Account Reconciliation * Involvement with new accounting system migrations - data validation, development/testing of SOP's regarding internal account processes * Some involvement with tax accounting, tax filings and reconciliations * They will also be supporting any business needs that may arise from supporting a global sourcing and distribution company with parent company headquarters based in Hong Kong Requirements * College student entering junior or senior year in August 2019 * Well-versed in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Ability to work independently * Analytical skills and strong decision-making capabilities * Excellent communication skills * Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks * Must be an Accounting or Finance Major * This internship opportunity could be longer than the ten week program.
