Login Now Engineer Tech Intern Company: Nammo Composite Solutions, LLC Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Nammo Composite Solutions Position Type: Intern Shift: Shift 1 About us: Nammo Composite Solutions, LLC, owned by Nammo Talley, Inc. is anengineering and composite manufacturing company with more than 20 years ofoperations. Our facility is located indowntown Salt Lake City, Utah. Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Engineering Co-Op Engineer Tech I. The chosen candidate will work collaboratively between the engineering and production teams, and will report to the Director of Engineering. This will be a temporary part-time internship (15-20 hours/week). Primary Responsibilities: Write, review and modify detailed manufacturing work instructions, including redline tracking and implementation. The ability to accurately input Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Operations (BOO) into ERP/MRP systems. Work with lead engineer to build and test prototypes, and train operators for new production introductions. Occasional testing of incoming materials, fixtures, and tooling. Will occasionally design and facilitate fabrication of tooling and manufacturing shop aids. Input of documents in product data management (PDM) system and expedite of sign-off cycles. Other duties as assigned by management based on the business needs. Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience): Must be enrolled in an engineering or technical discipline. Minimum 2 years of course work completion. MS Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Some working knowledge of 3D or 2D CAD including Solidworks and Draftsight preferred. Ability to focus on the work at hand during sometimes stressful situations and times when there are multiple priorities. Punctuality and good attendance required.
