We are looking for individuals with a flexible schedule that can work between the hours of 8am-7pm Monday-Saturday. All positions are part time but can grow to full time. Students encouraged to apply! Building Connections Behavioral Health Inc. provides In-Home ABA Services (ages 3-21), Early Intervention (ages 0-3), and 1:1 School Aides. Responsibilities of this job includes, but are not limited to: Structured oneonone interaction/instruction with children in their home, school, and/or community settings Implement educational programs and behavior interventions as designed by BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Behavior Consultant, or teacher). Create instructional control and rapport with clients. Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through ABA principles. Promotes the development of functional communication skills (i.e. speaking, using assistive communication devices, sign language). Support Childs independence with adaptive living skills (selfhelp, social, play skills). Quickly and accurately communicate problems/concerns to appropriate staff. Accurately collect data for progress reports as required by district or insurance agency. Inclusion with peers, facilitate social interactions, play and conversation skills. Keep the children motivated to learn by playing games, having fun and incorporate them into learning. Engage in and ensure client safety. Quickly and accurately communication problems/concerns to appropriate staff. Report updates and progress to BCBA or Consultant on the case. Maintain confidentiality of all clients and professional conduct. What we offer for our BCBH family: $16- $25 an hour (dependent on education and experience). Paid training to sit for your RBT certification exam. Supervision by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Ongoing training and support by staff. Opportunities for growth . Qualifications: High school Diploma (required) Bachelors degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field highly desired. Must sit for RBT exam within 90 days (paid training included). Valid drivers license . Reliable transportation(driving is required). Current auto insurance . Clear Livescan background required (FBI/DOJ). Current Immunizations (Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella, Mumps, Pertussis, Hepatitis B). Negative TB test within last 2 years. Statement by Physician (or authorized person by law to perform health examinations) that the employee is physically capable of performing services. CPR Certification within the last 2 years (If not certified, BCBH can provide this training). Ability to work with children who may engage in problem behaviors (i.e.-tantrums, aggression). Experience with children and in ABA and DTT is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
