Who We're Looking For A spirited, well-rounded and ambitious individual with a strong work-ethic and communication skills who wants to gain valuable experience in business marketing and/or social media. Applicants should be: * Organized * Skilled at note-taking * Able to multitask and take direction * Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelors degree program * Familiar with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram * Proficient in Microsoft Word/Google Docs, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and Excel/Google Sheets Bonus: Do you have any interesting experience or special skills? We prefer interns who don't just fill the position, but make it their own. If you have additional interests beyond the scope of the position, like if you've done or enjoy content creation (videos, gifs/memes, photography, artwork, websites, writing, etc) or if you're familiar with other applications (e.g. Adobe CC, any CRM, Google Adwords, etc), please speak up! What You'll Do * You'll assist in creating content and campaigns for social media, including organizing cross-platform content strategies. You'll learn how to manage an online brand presence, cultivate content to target specific demographics, and develop social media campaigns from the ground up. * You'll research the latest trends and assist in their implementation. You'll learn how to perform research into our competitors and clients industries, as well as monitor trending news, ideas, and memes on the web and social media. We'll show you how to capitalize on those insights and expand reach in the digital and physical space. * You'll participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with new ideas and strategies. You'll gain experience presenting and developing ideas with a team, boosting your communication skills. * You'll help book and schedule talent. We'll show you how to plan and execute large scale celebrity events, from organizing travel for the stars to coordinating with venues on marketing and setup. * You'll provide administrative support to management when required. You may learn how to create memos, estimates and invoices, draft and publish on-brand communications, organize internal file libraries, prepare pitch presentations for potential clients, and much more. We don't believe in "busy work," but we'll keep your hands full (and hands-on) with invaluable professional and business experience that is essential for success at all levels of any company or industry.
