Sherwin-Williams Performance Coatings Group currently has an opening for a Marketing/Design Intern to support our Creative Services Team. This position will support 7 industrial business units. The Internship duration will last until December 2019 with full time hours in the summer and part time after. Responsibilities include: * Collaborate with Creative Services Manager, Content Writers, Designers, and Project Coordinator to contribute to projects that could include ads, brochures, catalogs, logos, packaging, event invitations, signage, digital imagery, html emails, landing pages and other marketing requests that align with Sherwin-Williams Corporate and Performance Coatings Group guidelines, using existing templates wherever possible. * Assist with the development of finished goods labels by gathering necessary working files, pulling current regulatory content, updating label art to account for regulatory updates, formula changes, outdated branding, new products, and new label claims. * Prepare press-ready files for printed marketing collateral (sell sheets/product slicks and brochures) working from existing templates where feasible. * Work with division Marketing Communications teams to identify images needed for websites, confirm acceptable resolution, and upload images to a Digital Asset Management system. * Work with division Product Management teams to identify product images needed for websites, confirm label art, generate product image renders, and upload images to a Digital Asset Management system. * Manage small projects as needed. * Provide additional support to the Creative Services team as needed. Qualifications/Requirements: * Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors Degree program in Graphic Design with a minimum of 2 years in program. * Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. * Excellent written and oral communications skills. * Results oriented with demonstrated organization and time management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
