Our work maximizes results through the use of cutting edge technologies and innovation, organizational development, and evidence-based decision-making. nbsp; This program is a year-long, full-time commitment designed to provide recent graduates with an opportunity to make significant contributions to work in international development, and develop and improve business skills in communication, technology, quantitative reasoning, and teamwork. The Fellowship Intern will be able to observe and participate in business operations and decision-making, meet professional role models and potential mentors who can provide guidance, feedback, and support.nbsp;QEDrsquo;s fellowship experience is valuable to recent graduates as a means of allowing them to experience how their studies are applied in, and as work experience that can be highly attractive to potential employers. Responsibilities The Global Health and Data Solutions Fellow will be part of the larger Global Health Solutions Data and Innovation team with a focus on business development, university engagement, data use, and data visualization. The Fellow will have a number of responsibilities within the team and will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task between various projects. The general responsibilities include but are not limited to: nbsp; Business Development Assist in the discovery and tracking of new business opportunities Research and create written summaries on a range of public health and data use topics Contribute to research, writing, and preparation of business development proposals Collaboration with the Delhi-based data hub team on technical inputs Partner and University Outreach and Relationship Management Management of U.S. and international university relations and outreach for experts and emerging leaders Regular communication with university academic, administrative and student contacts including keeping them engaged and informed Coordination between universities and data visualization specialists regarding trainings Growth in the number and strength of University partners, and non-university private sector partners, including the ability to represent QED in these discussions. nbsp;Growth in Website Users and Contributors Contribution to the growth in the number of website contributors and users Coordination with university marketing and social media departments Coordination with the QED communications and marketing team Organization and management of special events and activitiesnbsp; Qualifications Masterrsquo;s degree in international development, public health, data visualization, marketing, journalism, economics, business administration, or related field Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively both in a team and as an individual Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments at one time Experience with business development and USAID proposals preferred Experience in Tableau or data visualization preferred, but not required Demonstrated interest and experience in international development
