We help you Prepare, Respond, Communicate, Recover. We help you control the outcome. Description: We are a growing consulting firm in need of a reliable and talented Contracts Intern. Your work as a Contracts Intern will make a real difference as you support the Contract Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Contracts Department with various functions, with a focus in contract and file record management, government registrations, contract inquiry management, and related administrative support. Specifics: Office located I city Center and free parking provided. Standard workday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This is a full time, four (4) month internship. Duties: Maintain and oversee contract records including filing, tracking, and organizing commercial, local, state, and federal contracts. Build and maintain template documents for use within the contracts department. Maintain online document generation portal with template updates, answer questions regarding the use of this portal, and create training materials for internal teams to utilize. Assist with responding to government requests for information/data calls. Project needs; such as auditing contractual terms and conditions. Corresponding with internal departments and manage department communications. Light reception and administrative support. Organize team building events and training opportunities. Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Qualifications: Education: Students currently in pursuit of a four year degree in the fields of law, political science, economics, public policy, library science, information management, communications, business, etc. from a regionally accredited university. Experience: Prior work experience in an office environment in lieu of education. Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications, SharePoint, and Hot Docs. Ability to be a team player, and work independently. Resourceful independent problem solver. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a changing work environment.
