UX/UI Design Intern Buildertrend - Omaha, NE4.4 10 hours agoPart-timeEstimated: $33,000 - $41,000 a year Apply Now Skills * Adobe Creative Suite Benefits * Food Provided Looking for LOCAL - Greater Omaha Area applicants only! **This is a year-round / part-time internship** Buildertrend is looking for a UX/UI Design Intern to join our growing team. As a part of the User Experience Team, youll work with our team of talented UX designers and researchers to evaluate, design and create a great user experience for our award-winning product. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience in all aspects of UX and UI design from initial concepts and final polished designs, to usability testing and user interviews. Responsibilities: (Subject to change) Design of our internal tools and our external facing product Produce a number of UX design deliverables - including user flows, wire-frames and final mock-ups Prototype solutions for web and mobile devices Create and document detailed visual design specs Conduct usability tests and other user research activities Document research outcomes and provide design recommendations Define and document of team processes and methodology Complete special projects as assigned (based on your personal goals and experience) Qualifications: 3.0+ GPA (Preferred) Current junior, senior, or graduate student studying Design (any concentration or discipline - graphic, industrial, etc.), Human and Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field Strong design portfolio showing all stages of design process - from sketches and wire-frames to fully realized mock-ups and prototypes Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (and the ability to quickly learn new tools) Experience in analytics, usability testing, or user research (preferred) Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Great attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment Ability to thoughtfully consider and incorporate feedback Passion for user-centered product design This internship is part-time (15-20 hours per week), dependent on your schedule. Start and end dates are determined by your availability.
