Employee will enter clinical data, maintain and stock study supplies, communicate with study participants, lab facilities, and physician offices, prepare kits for mailing and create family trees. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled in High School or college Computer and typing skills REPORTS TO: Professor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under administrative review, perform a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Function independently or as a team to provide support to the department, or supervisor. CHARACTERISTIC WORK * Enter clinical data into electronic research database * Prepare collection kits for mailing to study participants * Maintain and restock study supplies within the department store room. * Create family trees using Powerpoint as instructed by supervisor. * Request information from study participants, physician offices, lab facilities and other locations as needed, as instructed by supervisor. * Communicate frequently with study staff. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN Oral and/or written instructions are received from supervision. Provide direction and guidance to support personnel.
