RBM Laboratory Intern - ManufacturingLocation US-TX-AustinPosted Date 2 days ago(5/23/2019 9:40 AM)Job ID 2019-8282Location Details Austin, TXName Myriad RBM Overview Assist in performance of experiments and tasks within a project(s) to provide valid and needed information. ***This is a temporary/non-benefited internship for approximately three to six months.*** Responsibilities The Lab Intern Manufacturing reports to a Supervisor, Senior Scientist, or Director. The incumbent may initiateexperiments expected to result in partial or complete project fulfillment related to products or neededinformation. Qualifications Position Requirements At least 18 years of age Currently enrolled in school majoring in Biology or Chemistry related course of study; preference will begiven to those in who have completed at least 2 years towards their degree Available to work a minimum of 20hrs/week ; preference will be given to those who can work 2 full days(at least 7 hours ) each week Some lab experience required (pipetting a must) A willingness to contribute and work with a team of friendly people is essential Ability to follow instructions and be flexible The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear.
