The NYC office is seeking a talented intern possessing both creative and analytical skill-set. The intern will manage site updates, design promotional assets and support reporting needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing marketing assets for promotions as well as sharpening analytical skills. Start Date: August 1st, 2019 Duration: Initial duration 3 month. Can progress to longer term engagement. Hours: Full-time preferred or at least 3 days a week minimum. Job description * Design responsibilities * Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and design clear engaging graphic communications for promotional campaigns, social media, landing pages, website banners, and email campaigns. * Develop and edit product copy and marketing copy for various assets * Monitor and maximize engagement at the ad level on various channels (paid social, display, search, emails etc.) * Website content management * Update/upload creative assets on the site using the CMS and in our shared drive * Conduct site audit regularly and optimize CRO through design optimizations on the landing pages (new modules, checkout process etc.) * Marketing tasks * Partner with global social media team to develop and distribute content across various social media platforms to support key business objectives * Support the marketing manager to develop and execute marketing activities across digital/social platforms to drive business Skills and Attributes * A digital portfolio showcasing solid design skills and passion for design * Ability to transform business objectives into creative design concepts * Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) * Experience with video editing softwares (Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple iMovie) * Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus but not needed * Familiarity (or willingness to learn) CRM tools, analytics, AdWords * Light experience with Google Analytics is a plus (we will teach you everything on the job) * Recent graduate or actively working towards a college or graduate degree preferably with a focus in marketing, communications or other relevant design majors * Prior work experience in marketing / e-commerce / technology is a plus * Good understanding of online shopping trends is a plus * Creative thinker with strong planning, organization and execution skills * High attention to detail * Strong written and oral communication skills * High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability * Good time management skills * Self-motivated; able to work well with minimal supervision * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship Salary: $15.00 /hour Location: * Manhattan, NY 10018 (Preferred) Work authorization: * United States (Preferred) Additional Compensation: * Other forms Work Location: * One location Working days: * Monday * Tuesday * Wednesday * Thursday * Friday Benefits offered: * Workplace perks such as food/coffee and flexible work schedules * Commuting/travel assistance Hours per week: * 20-29 * 30-39 Overtime often available: * No Typical start time: * 9AM Typical end time: * 5PM
