This internship is being offered with an international non-profit organization that supports higher education. Responsibilities of the Writing and Research Intern * Assist with the planning, management, and execution of the research communications editorial calendar, including supporting communications plans and campaigns * Write and edit original research-focused content such as web content, articles, research briefs, etc. for school and candidate audiences * Review, edit, and provide feedback on research content written by other members of the team * Assist in the management of social media accounts for the research team * Execute updates to market intelligence/ website pages * Other responsibilities and duties as assigned Qualifications of the Writing and Research Intern * Current college student, pursuing a Bachelors degree in a field related to management, economics, journalism, communications, education, statistics or some other research related discipline * Able to work at least 2 full days per week (8 hour days) * Experience writing and editing for various audiences * Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) * Ability to multi-task, focus, and pay attention to detail * Positive attitude and eager/ willing to learn * Ability to take criticism constructively * Knowledge of social media preferred * Experience writing for a publication like a university/ college or high school newspaper preferred Reston, VA Part-time, 20 hours per week Paid Internship Company website: http://www.rocsstaffing.com/jobs/ Posted date: 11 hours ago
