Were a fun team of marketing professionals designers, writers, SEO specialists, social media gurus, and project management heroes. We thrive on seeing our clients succeed. About You You are a college student, majoring in a related field: Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, etc. You are looking to gain valuable online media experience with an established organization. You have a strong grasp on the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms, and have experience managing non-personal social media accounts. You enjoy working on a team and are open to learning new things. Requirements: * Some past, relatable experience is a plus, but well train the right individual * Experience with or desire to learn about social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights * Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest for professional use preferred * Photography experience a plus, but not required * Access to and experience with PhotoShop a plus The Role This is an up to 6 month, unpaid position at an estimated 20 hours per month (4 hours per week). As the Social Media Intern, you will learn important strategies for developing content calendars and will be responsible for developing weekly and monthly content calendars for a number of social platforms. You will monitor analytics with the on site social media team and help to identify viable content ideas and future strategies. You will also be responsible for contributing fresh, high quality content, engaging with audiences and providing insight on our audiences. Responsibilities: * Create engaging social media content and manage inbound social media activity * Develop content calendars on a weekly and/or monthly basis using a social media planning tool * Monitor analytics with social media team to identify strategic ideas * Monitor industry trends and relevant conversations This internship isnt about making coffee runs for the team or feeding the office pup her favorite treats (although, this is encouraged).
