Job Information Virtual Enterprise Architects HR Recruiting Intern in United States HR Recruiting Intern * 1100 G St NW, Washington, DC 20005, USA * Part-time Company Description VEA is an award winning, nationally recognized, small, minority company based in Washington, DC. Job Description * Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices. * Maintains employee files and database. * Schedules and coordinates administrative process of new employee orientations. * Assists management with applicant searches. * Assists with HR and applicant/resume tracking systems and related database searches/entries as needed. * Screens and separates incoming resumes prior to forwarding to management; prepares resumes and candidate information packets for hiring managers. * Responds to phone calls from applicants as to status of open positions and their application. * Performs informational interviews to interested applicants as needed. * Schedules interviews and maintains interview schedule for management. * Coordinates travel arrangements for management. * Conducts reference checks on final candidates. * Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars as needed. * Maintains company organization charts and employee directory. * Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned * Coordinate employee recognition program, which includes formal and informal award tracking and distribution. * Coordinate employee volunteer tracking. Qualifications A minimum of one year of applicable experience is required, additional years of experience is preferred. Current enrollment in a degree program within Business Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, Communication or Industrial / Organizational Psychology is required.
