Learn more by visiting www.geosyntec.com. ABOUT THE POSITION: We are seeking an engineering co-op / intern for approximately 10 weeks during the summer of 2019. This opening is for part-time employment, 8 to 10 hours per week. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office. Some of the key responsibilities for the engineering co-op / intern position include: Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools; Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, and CADD operators (draftsmen). CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: Currently registered in a Bachelors or Masters university degree program in a relevant engineering discipline. (required) Experience with Microsoft Office (required) Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
