The Human Resources Recruiting Intern is responsible for a variety of clerical functions and administrative support. Job Responsibilities * Assist in background checks and offer letters * Work with the HR coordinator and recruiters to schedule interviews, send rejection notices and post new/replacement reqs. * Assist recruiters in screening and sourcing potential candidates for open positions * Assist with storing all job descriptions in the internal file * Assist with answering employment inquiries via phone and email * Daily filing for human resources department, including personnel file management and other filing projects as assigned * Assist with personnel file conversion project * Other duties and projects as assigned Required Skills: * Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times * Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to project professionalism on the telephone is critical * Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment As an equal opportunity employer, WGU recognizes that our strength lies in our people.
