User Experience (UX) Coordinator Intern Johnson Controls - Milwaukee, WI3.8 Full-time Skills * Microsoft Project * UX * Microsoft Office What you will do The User Experience (UX) Coordinator Intern is an integral member of the UX Team. This person, working closely with the Design Operations Manager, will be responsible for coordinating between 1-3 projects of varying sizes and complexity. The main goal of the UX Coordinator is to make sure each project runs smoothly by tracking the projects progress and timely communicating its status to project members and management, and making sure project members are communicating with each other. How you will do it Assisting and supporting the Design Operations Manager. Working with the UX Team to remove impediments. Tracking, analyzing and communicating project risks and opportunities. Identifying scope creep and working with the team to create Change Orders. Keeping in close contact with key project members and decision makers. Tracking and reporting project progress, including budget. Creating and maintaining project schedules. Qualifications What we look for Required Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student graduating in December 2019 or later. Majoring in Business Administration, Communication, Project Management or related fields. Must be located in a commutable distance from our downtown Milwaukee office and available to work full-time during the summer and part-time (15 hours/week) during the fall semester. Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft suite of products, including Microsoft Project. Very Organized. Able to multi-task on various projects. Processed oriented. Experience working with and collaborating with others. Ability to communicate effectively, including writing skills. Ability to manage own time. Note: Occasional travel may be required to build and maintain relationships and to gain a clear understanding of user needs.
