Business Administration and Support Internship - Public Works City and County of Denver - Denver, CO3.7 Part-time About Our Job The Fleet Management Team at the Department of Public Works is seeking a Business Management Intern. This is a great opportunity to learn the business and administrative side of one of the largest departments and organizations in the City and County of Denver. As an intern, you will be responsible for: Creating/running reports Analyzing data Data cleansing for new system implementation Providing customer service; serve as an available resource to managers Assisting with special projects - Data entry and research for Fleet Certification Learning and using Fleet systems, Excel, Access, and Crystal databases Edits and updates various business documents - Business Plans, Policies, Procedures About You Our ideal intern will have/be: A current junior or senior college student pursing a degree and wanting to gain general business experience be pursuing a degree in Business, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Business Psychology, Analytics, or Human Resources Will be proficient in MS Suite Have previous experience working in an office environment (or looking to gain experience in an office environment) Willing to learn and provide support to management Attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication Engaged by data systems and analysis We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications: Education requirement:Completion of two years of college Current enrollment in a college program leading to a Baccalaureate Degree Experience Requirement: None Education/Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
