Job Requirements * Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Responds to user inquiries concerning system operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems; collects information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error; determines whether problem is caused by hardware or software. * Installs computer systems, software, and peripheral equipment. * Loads district approved software and operating systems onto computer systems. * Verifies correct system operations. * Directs users in proper operation of hardware, software, and equipment. * Communicates clearly and concisely in written or oral form to provide status, updates, and/or completion information to users. * Refers major hardware problems to Network Administrator for correction. * Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming email, telephone, voice mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with software and computer-related problems (while following technology request / work order policy and protocol). * Assists in writing or revision of IT asset and small parts inventories. * Must be able to frequently lift, move and/or carry up to 45 pounds of equipment (monitors, computer towers, etc.) without assistance. * Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as needed to keep the network operational. * At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred * Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required Application Questions There are no application questions required for this job posting.
