Job Summary : Trane Commercial has an excitingopportunity for an Energy Services Intern based in St. Louis, MO. As an Energy Services Intern, you willbe part of a team working with one of the most challenging and fastest growingcareer fields, Trane Energy Services. This role supports our customers indeveloping sustainable energy efficient facility improvement and energysavings. You will use the application of energy business knowledge to identifyand develop these energy savings solutions as part of an industry leadingEnergy Services Company (ESCO). A career with an ESCO demands not only aknowledge of energy services, but also requires strong interpersonal, teamwork andcommunication skills coupled with the will, determination, work ethic and a desireto succeed. An internship with Trane is designedto be a development program to attain and recruit top energy business talentthat may eventually be considered for full-time employment as a sales ortechnical professional in our Energy Services business segment. As an internwithin our commercial systems business, you will work with Trane personnel andour customers to identify market segments and customers with potential energyprojects, support the development of energy conservation measures (ECMs) includingthe installation of Trane systems, controls, parts and services for commercial,industrial and institutional buildings. These systems include the world's mostcomplete line of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment andbuilding management controls as well as related energy efficient technologies. Thisprogram will challenge and further develop your technical, business, andcommunication skills to give you a better idea of what a career in business andenergy project development with Trane would entail. Qualifications: Technical degreed students with a wide variety ofengineering, environmental sciences, business or finance curricula would beconsidered if they wish to be considered for the Trane energy business andproject development internship program. In addition to pursuing a BachelorsDegree, candidates must be in their junior or senior year in order to beconsidered. You must be in good academic standing on your campus with a minimumcumulative GPA of 2.65. In addition, the successful candidate must becompetitive, goal oriented and possess a strong interest in a career in energyproject development. All candidates must be legally eligible to work full-timein the USA without sponsorship, hold a valid Drivers License and be able toprovide proof of insurance.
