We produce networking and food + drink events in over 25 cities, and are growing rapidly. The intern will gain a positive learning experience with responsibility in: * Updating social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) Public Relations (outreach to bloggers/media) * Event Marketing (assist with events planning) * Other marketing tactics or administrative work including assisting in giveaways, designing creative materials, participating in strategic planning sessions and conference calls and on-site promotions Required skills: * Prefer college student or recent graduate with experience in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or Advertising * Prior internship experience preferred * Knowledge of Social Media Outlets * Contributing to internal/external communication material * Strong research/writing skills * Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/design/web or WordPress experience, a plus * Positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile * Self-starter and independent thinker * Personal computer/internet required This position is part-time unpaid/college credit (20 hours/week, flexible scheduling and mostly remote).
