People Analytics Intern Are you passionate about using statistical rigor to uncover truth from data? Do you love providing insights to business leaders to help them achieve their goals? As our People Analytics Intern, you will be supporting and directly working with the People Analytics Program Manager to gather data, conduct analysis, identify key trends, and uncover insights. This role requires influence, coupled with strong data analytical skills to drive results with limited direction. As a member of our Talent, Culture, and Communications team, you'll also have up-close exposure to several other critical company functions, including talent acquisition, people development, talent management, philanthropic giving, employee volunteerism, as well as internal and external companywide communications. Internship Information: We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and can be flexible with hours to accommodate class schedules. Ideal candidate would be able to work 20-25 hours per week, would have room to expand to 40 hours over the summer Ideally this internship is ongoing with potential to grow into a full-time position, this position is not looking for a short-term hire. Core Responsibilities Assist in the development and automation of ad-hoc and standard reporting and visualizations. Interpreting data using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis using data gathered from multiple sources. Assist in taking the deep learnings provided by analytics and turn them into actionable recommendations. Help develop and deliver employee survey programs. Help business partners navigate and understand how to interpret and use data. Address daily ad-hoc data requests while building relationships and trust. Pursuing or completed Master's (Bonus - pursuing a PhD) in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Org Behavior, Sociology, Statistics, or related fields. 1-3 years of data-analytics experience in an applied setting, using statistical and predictive analyses such as Chi Square, T-Test, ANOVA, logistic regression, multiple regression, relative weights, Random Forest and Decision Tree. Proficiency in using a SPSS Statistical Software (R is a plus) Proficiency in Excel and BI solutions Experience and proficiency working with large data sets, cleaning, merging, and analyzing. Experience with People Initiatives in HR.
