For more information, please visit The Opportunity Position Summary We are seeking highly-motivated, hard-working individuals with a genuine interest in a Human Resources career. The Human Resources Intern will gain experience in the areas of recruiting, training, coaching and employee relations Essential Functions * Organize, file and maintain personnel records for current and terminated employees in accordance with state and company policy * Assist the HR department in administering HR training courses * Update and enter associate s data into the HRIS System * Administer the pre-employment process to new candidates which includes explaining paperwork, coordinating drug screens and entering background checks * Enroll and educate new employees on our Biometric Time keeping system * Assist with other tasks such as payroll, clerical duties (filing, processing of paperwork, etc), labor relations & various company programs/initiatives * Collect information when notified of an employee or non-profit volunteer incident Non-essential Functions: * Answer phone calls and in person questions associates may have regarding Human Resource issues * Coordinate and verify when employees are to attend scheduled training sessions Education & Experience: * Working towards an associate or bachelor degree in Human Resources or equivalent field * Experience with HRIS software, PeopleManager or similar program * High school education or GED required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to GuestPath s Universal Service Standards * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Pleasant, with the ability to deal with all levels of management including associates * Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with ability to multi-task * Administrative experience and Human Resource experience preferred Physical Requirements: * Frequent walking, throughout entire facility, for entire length of shift, 8+ hours * Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions Environmental Working Conditions: * May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season Who We Are Take your career beyond the ordinary to the extraordinary.
