Other events include Ancker Nurses Reunion, Alzheimers Breakfast, BurnAid Golf Classic and Business & Community Leader Breakfasts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Current college student or recent college graduate from a four-year accredited university with a major in communications, marketing or public relations preferred. Experience: Experience in special event planning and project management, preferably at a nonprofit organization or foundation. Experience preferred in philanthropic activities or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated success in coordinating special events and project management * Working knowledge of funding community * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of donors and the ability to work in a team environment * Strong computer skills: database management, word processing, spread sheet and presentation applications * Possess tact, diplomacy * Ability to organize and coordinate a variety of projects and activities simultaneously * Ability to handle multiple tasks * Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented * Self-motivated and results oriented Licensure/Registration/Certification: Nothing required.
